David A. Finnie, M.A., M.P.A.
David Finnie is currently employed at Wright State University Police Department as the Assistant Chief of Police in charge of Administration, Support Services, Communications, Records and the Community Oriented Policing Program. David’s education and training include a Master of Public Administration, Master of Arts in Criminal Justice & Social Problems received at Wright State University and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice at the University of Delaware. In addition; he has completed the Northwestern University’s School of Police Staff and Command, a nationally recognized law enforcement executive development program, and successfully completed the Police Executive Leadership College sponsored by the Ohio Association of Chiefs of Police. David also serves as an adjunct professor at Wright State University in the Department of Political Science and the Applied Behavioral Science Program.
