Kathleen Long-Wittberg, M.D., clinical assistant professor of family medicine, is graduate of the University of Dayton and University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, Dr Wittberg completed her family medicine residency at Good Samaritan Hospital and has been a part-time faculty member since 1990. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine and a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Medicine. Dr. Wittberg serves the residency as a preceptor, resident advisor, and assists the residency in other academic areas. Her clinical interests are in preventive care, geriatrics and developmental disabilities. She is a former recipient of the Attending of the Year and the Physicians Making a Difference Awards at Good Samaritan Hospital. Dr. Wittberg is in private practice in Englewood and is involved with the Miami Valley Academy of Family Practice serving both as program director for their annual CME course and treasurer. She volunteers with Reach Out Dayton, a local free clinic for the uninsured of the community. She enjoys hiking, choral singing, cooking and watching her U.D. Flyer basketball team.
