Valerie Stueland, MBA, CPSM, CPM, APP, CPPO.
Valerie Stueland is the Director of the Master Science in Logistics and Supply Chain Management (MSLSCM) Program in the ISSCM Department of the Raj Soin College of Business, Wright State University (WSU). She received her MBA and Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain Management from Arizona State University.
Prior to coming to Wright State University, Ms. Stueland has had over 15 years of private industry and public sector supply management experience. She has been the head of the Purchasing Division for the City of Dayton, has worked in contract negotiations, global sourcing, merger, and acquisitions, and has run her own business. She has led international sourcing teams and has worked in a variety of industries including aerospace, telecommunications, financial services, semiconductors, and government.
Ms. Stueland is an active member of the Institute of Supply Management, and holds multiple certifications including Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.), and an Accredited Purchasing Practitioner (A.P.P.). She is also a Certified Public Purchasing Officer (CPPO) through the National Institute of Governmental Purchasing.
Valerie publications appear in Inside Supply Management, and she has presented at the Annual International Conference for ISM regarding her research on Supplier Evaluations. Ms. Stueland is a certified trainer of professional certifications through ISM's certified trainer program.
