As the social media program director for Wright State University, Katie Halberg directs the content, strategy, and creative for the university's award-winning social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Snapchat, YouTube, and Pinterest. She also is responsible for digital advertising. With 15+ years of experience in higher education, Halberg has held leadership positions in admissions, marketing communications, student services, and social media in private and public institutions.
Halberg has helped hundreds of institutions more successfully adopt best practices and innovation in social media, marketing, and online crisis communications through presentations at leading national conferences, including those for the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (AACRAO), and the North American Association of Commencement Officers (NAACO). She holds a Master of Business Administration from Wright State and a Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies from Towson University.
