Originally from Mississippi, Ashley Noble moved to Dayton to join the USAF Band of Flight where she served as Principal Oboe/English Horn. While in the USAF Band of Flight, Ashley performed for presidents, senators, foreign dignitaries, and other heads of state.  She toured with the concert band, and performed at the Music Education Conferences for Ohio, West Virginia, Indiana, Michigan, and Pennsylvania.  Ashley has performed with the Dayton Philharmonic, the Bach Society of Dayton, Springfield Symphony, Zhengzhou Festival Orchestra in China, and the Alabama Symphony.

Solo performances include concerto performances with the USAF Band of Flight, the Mississippi Symphony, and Tuscaloosa (AL) Symphony. Chamber music performances include concerts with the Dayton Philharmonic Woodwind Quintet, USAF Band of Flight Woodwind Quintet, chamber music recitals at Wright-Patterson AFB and University of Southern Mississippi, and performances at double reed days.

Before joining the USAF Band of Flight, Ashley was Principal Oboe/English Horn with the Natchez Opera and English Horn with the Baton Rouge Symphony. While freelancing in the South, she worked with the Meridian Symphony, Gulf Coast Symphony, Mobile Symphony,  and Tupelo Symphony. She has performed with well-renowned artists and conductors to include: Itzhak Perlman, Doc Severinsen, The Miracles, Joe Alessi, H. Robert Reynolds, Colonel Donald Schofield, Michael Haithcock, and Jerry Junkin. 

As an Oboe Instructor, Ashley has taught at Earlham College, Wittenberg University, William Mason HS, Beavercreek City Schools, and Centerville School District.

Ashley’s professional development has involved studies with Dr. Mark Ostoich, Felix Kraus (Cleveland Orchestra, retired), Robert Sorton (Ohio State, retired) and she has performed in Masterclass for Linda Strommen, Elaine Douvas, Tom Stacy, and John Mack.  Additional studies include lessons with Jeff Rathbun, Kimberly Bryden, and Rebecca Henderson. 

Ashley’s received her Master’s degreee from University of Southern Mississippi where she studied with Dr. Patricia Malone. Her undergraduate studies were at Baylor University where she worked with Dr. Doris Deloach. 

Ashley enjoys traveling and hiking with her family.
