Benjamin Allen Clouse, M.D.
Dr. Clouse (Ben) was born and raised in the rural farmlands of New Riegel, OH. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Business Economics and Master of Science in Social and Applied Economics at Wright State University. He subsequently worked in the health insurance industry, ultimately resigning his position to pursue a Medical Degree at Wright State University’s Boonshoft School of Medicine. While enrolled in medical school Ben participated in the Physician Leadership Development Program, earning his Master of Public Health and his Master of Education. He earned his M.D. in 2022. His interests include preventative medicine, academic medicine, patient advocacy, and the business of medicine. Outside of medicine he enjoys teaching economics at Wright State University’s Raj Soin College of Business, where he has been faculty since 2016. In his leisure time he enjoys spending time with his wife and family, outdoorsmanship, running long distance, walks with his dogs, and any novel by Stephen King.
