Dr. Clouse (Ben) is a Board Certified Family Physician. He practices as an Acadaemic Hospitalist at Miami Valley Hospital and is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Wright State Univeristy.

Ben was born and raised in the rural NW OH. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Business Economics and Master of Science in Social and Applied Economics at Wright State University. He subsequently worked in the health insurance industry, ultimately resigning his position to pursue a Medical Degree at Wright State University’s Boonshoft School of Medicine. While enrolled in medical school Ben participated in the Physician Leadership Development Program, earning his Master of Public Health and his Master of Education 

His interests include prevention, harm reduction, resource optimization, transitions of care and addressing health disparities through systems-based and community-engaged approaches. Outside of medicine he enjoys teaching undergraduate economics and research in the health sciences. In his leisure time he enjoys spending time with his family, outdoorsmanship, running, and any novel by Stephen King.
