Bobbie Szabo, M.Ed., is the Assistant Director of the Women’s Center and adjunct faculty in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. Bobbie began her career at Kent State University’s Women’s Center and Office of Sexual and Relationship Violence Support Services, where she ran power-based personal violence de-escalation workshops, special events, and the Office’s social media pages. Following that, Bobbie taught sexual and reproductive health education classes at a middle school and led gender-based violence prevention interventions with adults in Botswana as a Peace Corps Volunteer. She loves to get out into nature, dance joyously, find rad second-hand items, and build community. Bobbie is beyond excited to support women (and all!) students, faculty, and staff at WSU and the greater community.
