Brian T. Boyd, Ph.D.
Dr. Boyd has worked in Mathematics Education at Wright State since 2006. He has a joint appointment between the Department of Teacher Education and the Department of Mathematics and Statistics. His interests include student-centered and project-based learning; teacher development; school leadership; teaching reasoning and proof; and teacher tracking. While at WSU, Dr. Boyd served as the Founding Principal of the Dayton Regional STEM School.
Prior to working at WSU, Dr. Boyd was a high school mathematics teacher and middle school principal in the Dayton area. He earned his PhD in Mathematics Education from the University of Louisville.
