About Me: I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. My research interests lie centrally in knowledge engineering, specifically in the construction and use of knowledge graphs. I conduct research into fundamental methods (i.e., creating knowledge graphs) and application domains (i.e., using knowledge graphs) alongside both human-in-the-loop methods. Recently, I investigate at the intersection between neural and symbolic representations, how these systems are realized and their properties, and how such systems are utilized and deployed.
