Daniel Baker, DrPH, MPH is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Population and Public Health Sciences at Wright State University’s Boonshoft School of Medicine.

Dr. Baker is a career public health practitioner bringing experience from the local, state, and federal levels of government. His areas of expertise include: public health emergency preparedness, emergency management, leadership, medical countermeasures, strategic and operational planning, training and exercise, program implementation and evaluation, crisis communications, systems and population analysis, and grant administration.

Dr. Baker earned his Doctor of Public Health at the University of South Florida (Tampa, FL) specialized in advanced practice leadership. He is also a proud alum of Wright State University (Dayton, OH) where he earned his Master of Public Health and two Bachelor of Science degrees (Biological Sciences, Earth and Environmental Sciences). Dr. Baker is also an alum from the Center for Homeland Defense and Security’s Executive Leaders Program at the Naval Postgraduate School (Monterey, CA).
