Research Areas and Description:

Dr. Gouchoe is doing post-doctoral research fellowship working under the direction of Dr. Bryan Whitson MD, PhD in the Collaboration for Organ Profusion, Protection, Engineering and Regeneration (COPPER) Lab at The Ohio State University. He is currently aiding in small animal surgeries, organ procurement, cell culturing, data collection and manipulation to further the development of extended ex-vivo donor organ perfusion that will serve as a platform for organ assessment, repair and modification to improve transplant outcomes and donor organ utilization.
