Hello Raiders!!
As Director of Disability Services, I currently run the day to day operations of the office, supervise all case managers, oversee autism programming, as well as, our alternative format and testing proctoring units. Prior to beginning in Disability Services in 2011, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to work on a grant for the School of Professional Psychology with PI Jeffrey B. Allen, PhD., which looked at Alzheimer's Disease in specific senior populations. I greatly enjoy collaborating with colleagues, mentoring my staff and working with students as they acclimate to college life and encounter the wonderful opportunities for learning and personal growth that exist on the higher education journey. A specific area of interest for me is the support of students on the Autism Spectrum through a program I created in 2012, titled Raiders on the Autism Spectrum Excelling (RASE). Over the past decade, more than 200 students have participated in the program and their retention and subsequent success in their endeavors is one of the true joys of my professional career.
