Why did you choose this program? 

She was fascinated with the faculty, staff, and 1+2 (urban and rural) approach at WSU, which will enable her to receive comprehensive training in urban and rural health systems. 

Bio: 

Dr. Kauser grew up in Nairobi, Kenya, and finished elementary schooling there. She then returned to India with her family, continued her education, and graduated from the Deccan College of Medical Sciences. She married, moved to the US, and was based in Chicago. Before joining residency, she worked as a Research Assistant at Northwestern University in Chicago and an Assistant Physician in Missouri. She also volunteered for several non-profit organizations. Dr. Kauser is strongly committed to helping the deeply underserved and offering them top-notch care. Her primary areas of interest are preventative medicine and women's health. During her free time, she likes to cook and spend time with her children, a daughter and a son.
