Dr. Killian is the interim Chair of the Department of Social Work , a past and current MPA Program Director, and has held positions on the executive boards of the American Society for Public Administration and the Society of Women in Public Administration. She has authored, co-authored, and edited books and articles relevant to local governance, nonprofit management, and education. Research and teaching interests include organization theory and behavior, ethics, leadership, and administrative reform.
