
Kim A. Vito, M.F.A.
Professor of Art and Art History
Kim Vito is Professor of Art and co-head of Printmaking at Wright State University, where she has been teaching intaglio and relief printmaking and all levels of drawing since 1992. She received her MFA from Florida State University in 1988 and a BFA from Miami University in 1986. She previously taught printmaking, drawing and design at University of Central Florida and Indiana/Purdue University, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Vito exhibits her work regularly in major national and international juried and invited exhibitions. Recent exhibitions include “Kyoto/Dayton International Print Invitational”, Kyoto Hakubutsukan Museum, Kyoto, Japan; “PrintWorks 2009 TransAtlantic Exchange Portfolio Project”, Ohio and Dresden, Germany; and “Images 2010: A National Portfolio of Thirty-four Printmakers”. Her work is included in numerous public and corporate collections. She received an Ohio Arts Council Individual Excellence Award in 2006.
