Hello, My name in Mike Baumer.  I have been a full time Academic Advisor at Wright State since 1990!  I am a proud graduate of Wright State University, first in 1982 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Geography and in 1985 with a Master of Science Degree in Social and Applied Economics!  I originally came to Wright State in 1977 with the intention of transferring to another university.  I have never left!  I ran Cross Country four years at Wright State, competing in the NCAA II Cross Country Championships three times.  At age 25, I was selected to restart the Cross Country program in fall 1984, after it was dropped for financial reasons at the conclusion of my senior year.  That same year, I started the Women’s Cross Country team!  I coached at Wright State through 1999.  My daughter competed for WSU XC and T&F teams from 2013 thru 2017.  I have coached at Bellbrook HS since fall 2013.  My wife and both children are Wright State graduates.
