Nicole Kinzeler is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Population and Public Health Sciences at Wright State University’s Boonshoft School of Medicine. Dr. Kinzeler is the Assistant Director of SARDI and has a joint appointment in the Master of Public Health (MPH) program. She is author on numerous conference papers and peer-reviewed journal articles related to her research on substance abuse, integrated care, HIV and disability. As the Director of Evaluation at SARDI for the past 9 years, Dr. Kinzeler has supervised the evaluation of 17 projects, which involve partnerships with various community-based and government organizations. Dr. Kinzeler is currently the Principal Investigator for a federally funded grant aimed at providing substance use and HIV prevention education to African American college students. She has also served as the lead evaluator and trainer for three Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (OMHAS) projects, managing data for over 80,000 clients receiving behavioral health services in Ohio. For the MPH program, Dr. Kinzeler currently serves as the Capstone Director and a co-instructor for the Public Health Project Management course.
