
Priti Parikh, PhD
Dr. Priti Parikh is a Professor and Vice Chair for Research Education and Professional Development in the Department of Surgery at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine. She also serves as the Director of the Medical Scholars Program, a specialized pre-medical pathway designed to support high-achieving undergraduate students aspiring to careers in medical field.
In both roles, Dr. Parikh mentors undergraduate Medical Scholars, medical students, surgical residents, and faculty on developing competitive academic portfolios, advancing scholarly work, and achieving career milestones across the medical education continuum. She develops and implements programs focused on research training, academic scholarship, and professional development. Dr. Parikh is also actively involved in faculty development and mentoring, supporting faculty in areas such as research engagement, academic promotion, and leadership growth.
