Dr. Alta'any, born and raised in Jordan, earned her medical degree from the Jordan University of Science and Technology. She decided to broaden her horizons and moved to the United States. Driven by a thirst for knowledge, Dr. Alta'any actively pursued roles as a research assistant, medical scribe, and behavioral technician, acquiring a wealth of diverse clinical experiences and cultivating a profound appreciation for holistic patient care. During her search for new opportunities to serve diverse populations, particularly the underserved, she discovered our program at WSU, which offered the perfect platform for her to achieve the goal of practicing meaningful, high-quality care in a diverse community, which she believes is an exceptional setting for personal and professional growth. Dr. Alta'any has a keen interest in family medicine, particularly in the realm of Maternal/Women's Health. Dr. Alta'any cherishes leisure time with her family, enjoying activities like walking, kayaking, and biking.
