Sara Tisherman, M.D. is an assistant professor with the department of Family Medicine. She graduated from Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine in 2019 and completed residency at Kettering Health Network Soin Family Medicine Residency Program in Dayton, OH. After residency, she completed fellowship at UPMC St Margaret Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship in Pittsburgh, PA. During fellowship, she worked directly with high school, NCAA D3, NCAA D1, semiprofessional, and professional athletes. Her professional interests include full spectrum family medicine, sport medicine, education, and point-of-care ultrasound.
