Research Statement

Dr. Sean Harshman currently serves as a research scientist at the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) conducting studies to determine the molecular signatures of human performance and physiology using high end mass spectrometry. His work utilizes non-invasive media sources, such as exhaled breath and sweat, to identify potential volatile, metabolite, protein and lipid biomarkers of hypoxia, stress and fatigue.
