Teresa L. Richter, M.S.
Introduction
Hello! I'm Teresa Richter, Coordinator of the Graphic & Digital Design programs. With over 30 years of experience in graphic design, I am deeply passionate about nurturing the art of creative communication in dedicated and inquisitive students. My goal is to help you discover the joy of waking up every day eager to immerse yourself in your craft. When you experience that excitement, you'll grasp the profound bond between a designer and their work, and the impact it can have on the world.
Teaching Philosophy
My approach to education centers on recognizing the uniqueness of each student and the importance of fostering a stimulating learning environment. I aim to create a space where students can develop holistically—physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially. My goal is to cultivate an atmosphere that supports students in reaching their fullest potential. I prioritize establishing a safe and encouraging classroom where students feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and exploring new ideas, thus encouraging them to take academic and personal risks.
