Teresa W. Zryd, M.D., M.S.P.H., is currenty the System Vice President of Academic Affairs/Reseach and Associate Dean Premier Health.  She served as  the director of the Wright State University Family Medicine Residency Program for over fourteen years. She is a 1995 graduate of Wright State University School of Medicine and a graduate of the Dayton Community Family Medicine Residency Program, where she also served as chief resident. Dr. Zryd joined the residency as faculty in August 1998. She is an associate professor in the Department of Family Medicine, and also holds a Master of Science in Public Health from Western Kentucky University. Dr. Zryd serves as chief medical consultant for the Dayton Public Schools and team physician for the University of Dayton. Her special interests include political advocacy,  preventive medicine, school/public health and adolescent medicine.  Dr. Zryd is currently President of the Ohio Academy of Family Physicians.
