
Xiaodong Zhang, Ph.D.
Dr. Xiaodong Zhang is currently a Professor of Electrical Engineering at Wright State University, Dayton, Ohio. He teaches courses in control systems and robotics. His current research interests include intelligent autonomous robots, integrated health managemnet, and intelligent control. He previously worked as a Senior Research Engineer at General Motor R&D Center, Warren, Michigan. Dr. Zhang is a Senior Member of IEEE, and a memmber of the IFAC Technical Committee on Fault Detection, Supervison, and Safety for Technical Processes (TC 6.4). He served as an Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Control Systems Technology and a technical committee memeber of various international conferences. He is a faculty advisor to student chapters of Tau Beta Pi.
