Dr. Johnson facilitates a diagnostic and prescriptive approach to improve learning skills and academic outcomes among students enrolled in WSU's Boonshoft School of Medicine. She monitors the academic progress of all BSOM students to meet the student's and the institution’s overall educational objectives. Dr. Johnson provides individually planned study, time management, reading and other strategies to enhance academic outcomes. Dr. Johnson provides planned approaches to optimizing preparation and performance on the USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 examinations.
Dr. Johnson also manages and supervises the Peer Tutoring Program - providing peer leaders to facilitate seminars and workshops at Boonshoft as well as assigning individual peer leaders to tutor medical students.
